CHAD'S JOURNEY... as only he can tell it.

"My family has always purchased, remodeled, rented and resold properties. I remember my friends spending the night with me and the next day we were working on a rental property together. I wasn't excited then, but having that experience has really helped me today.
 
At age 16, I was intrigued by real estate and I took my first paying job after school with one of the top producing broker/owner/agents in the industry ‐ Debbi Anderson. She gave me incredible experience in sales, marketing and in the managing of all property types as well as how to run multiple businesses! At the young age of 19, I dove into the market myself and acquired my first home. It soon became the first rental property in my portfolio.
 
I quickly became a licensed Realtor at the age of 21 and was awarded the 1999 ROOKIE OF THE YEAR & The Million Dollar Sales Award. Being motivated by the success and feeling like I had found my calling, I immersed myself into every real estate education class available. These classes helped me expand my own investment property portfolio and spurred more sales awards. While selling literally all different property types & having a real enjoyment for analyzing investment properties, I decided to educate others on investing into real estate which carved out my niche.
 
We decided to take our company called Professional Property Management to the next level by giving it the new name of Real Estate Investment Services spanning five locations and launch a sister company called Approved Mortgage to assist clients with the full spectrum of real estate needs. I also soon decided to start my own real estate school called The Academy.
 
I am proud to have become one of the youngest Designated Brokers in the area, acquiring my Broker's license at age 28. For the next 5 years, I was the designated Managing Broker of John L Scott Tacoma North with 65+ agents. I personally reviewed and guided agents on every one of the 100 deals we averaged a month. This work improved my knowledge of the legal side of how transactions must correctly be written & how to run multiple businesses. At one point, I had responsibility of 100+ people through multiple companies while closing transactions with my loyal clients, their refferals and myself. I was also honored during this time at age 29 with the distinct Business Examiner 40 Under 40 Award in 2006 honoring my achievements at my young age.
 
As you can see, I have spent my time investing everything into my companies' infrastructures and leaders while simultaneously growing my personal real estate portfolio which currently consists of 8 commercial buildings, 105 + residential rental doors & 1 commercial piece of land for future development.
 
Above all else though, the most exciting & important part of my life occurred on October 4th, 2010 as I married the most amazing woman in the world‐ Janel who has been in real estate since 2003. Our story is amazing and I look forward to telling it to you sometime! I am truly blessed and complete. I am very excited for where I am in my life on multiple fronts!"
